Can I get someone go 4 me to get be a tourist visa for russia or do i hav 2 go 2 the embassy in london myself?

I want to travel to russia this week.

I have the tourist voucher, but i am too busy at work to go to the russian embassy in london to get the visa. Am i allowed to send someone to go and get it for me?
